Emotional Support

Financial Support

Our monthly CanHope Cancer Support Group meetings can help with Emotional Support. This group meets the third Wednesday of each month (except December) at 3:00 pm at Aiken's First Baptist Church on Chesterfield Avenue, in the Parlor. It is a non-denominational but chaplain-facilitated group for both men and women with any type of cancer, and also for their families and other caregivers. Call Chaplain Cathy Cole (803) 641-5389 or Savannah River Cancer Foundation at (803) 649-5433.

Financial Support is available to cancer patients that meet designated criteria. If your income is within 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, we may be able to help pay for your cancer-related medications as well as transportation to cancer treatments and doctor appointments. Although we don’t place any restrictions on where you obtain treatment, you must be a resident of one of the following four counties in South Carolina: Aiken, Edgefield, Barnwell or Allendale.
